They had forgotten to let the ladder down before jumping into the sea. To make matters even more terrifying for aqua-phobic Amy, her new-born baby Sara is still on the yacht. Miles from shore, the group get increasingly desperate and begin to turn on one another. This low-budget thriller makes use of the success of OPEN WATER to tell its own story of people stranded in dangerous waters and is well-crafted, tense and dramatic. Director Hans Horn attempts to deliver palpable terror with ADRIFT and he succeeds in making in a shocking film due to the plot's plausibility.
