Things go from bad to worse when Alex’s (Ruffalo) girlfriend walks out on him and his art exhibition gets cancelled, forcing him to take a job as a pizza delivery guy. Desperate to pick up the pieces of his life, he relocates to a rundown apartment block where he starts dating his neighbour, the unrefined Lori (Beth Ulrich). But when their relationship hits the skids, they realise that living in each other’s pockets is not such an ideal situation--and the building’s kooky residents don’t make life any easier for Alex.
