Summary: An offbeat study of mis-matched characters who find paradise off the beaten track at the Bagdad Cafe. It's just a greasy spoon diner and a rusty gas pump in the middle of the Mojave Desert, but to a mysterious, stranded Bavarian woman (Marianne Sagebrecht) and a few mismatched regulars, the Bagdad Cafe becomes a magical piece of paradise.
