This film is no way near as good as the original. At times it appears to be nothing but an anti-american film interspersed with violent deaths. The various weapons have been replaced this time with nothing but guns and this definitely takes away from something in the film. However, the short comings in the plot are saved by some fantastic set pieces including a d-day style assault on a beach. It doesn't have the same lasting feel of the first film but worth a look for some of the fight scenes.

Not as good as the brilliantly made iconic original but does have some over the top battle scenes and should be worth a watch so you can make your mind up.
