Scotland Yard's finest , Detective Sergeant Bung ( Harry H.Corbett )
and Detective Constable Slobotham ( Peter Butterworth ) , are
baffled by the mysterious goings - on in Hocombe Wood . Albert
Potter ( Jim Dale ) reports the disappearance of his girlfriend Doris
Mann ( Angela Douglas ) and the trail leads to Bide - a - Wee Rest
Home . Lady of the house Valeria ( Fenella Fielding ) revives her long dead brother Dr. Watt ( Kenneth Williams ) , but both are
suspiciously unhelpful . Bung is easily seduced by Valeria but soon
monster , wolfmen and an Egyptian mummy make life very hot for everybody - particularly Dr. Watt . Hilariously funny indeed.
