Summary: Featuring four Charlie Chaplin films. In 'The Immigrant' a man befriends a girl and takes her for a coffee. In 'Tillie's Punctured Romance' a farm girl is seduced by a smooth con man who steals her father's money.

This collection features three classic Charlie Chaplin shorts and one feature from 1914-1917. In "The Rink," Chaplin plays a waiter who takes his breaks at a skating rink, leading to possible romance and, of course, many mishaps, while "The Immigrant" finds Chaplin trying to make the best of the rough seas. "Tillie's Punctured Romance" is a landmark film--the first feature-length comedy ever made--and features Chaplin as a con artist who talks an innocent lass into taking her father's savings and running away with him. Finally, "The Vagabond" follows Chaplin's famous Little Tramp character, and is one of the first films directed by Chaplin himself. This special edition sports digitally mastered sound from the best available sources and a newly recorded music score.
