In HOT SHOTS, Topper Harley is a heartthrob fighter pilot assigned to the Navy on a secret mission, the details of which never entirely become clear. The jokes come fast and furious as Topper attempts to clear his family name while completing his mission despite the absurdity going on around him. NATIONAL LAMPOON'S LOADED WEAPON 1 is a send-up of LETHAL WEAPON and SILENCE OF THE LAMBS where two cops have to solve a series of murders. In SPACEBALLS, Space-Bum-For-Hire Lone Starr and his sidekick Barf (half man, half dog, he's his own best friend) must rescue a spoilt Druish Princess from evil sniveller Dark Helmet in time to pay off Pizza the Hutt.
