I loved the original, and thought it was the best of Romero's early zombie movies. This is every bit as good, and brings the zombies up to a modern day standard. In this movie they can run!, so the days of walking around them have gone. The story line is not too different from the original, but enough to create a new interest. This version also has a darker more frightening edge, so you spend more time on the edge of your seat. Look out for a cameo appearance from one of the original cast. A must have DVD!
