The story to this film doesn't make it sound great but somehow it just works. From the same director as Dog Soldiers, this is one of the scariest film I've been fortunate to see. From the word go it's a claustrophobic, schocktastic, violent frightfest. The film is excellently shot and the charcaterisation is brilliant, watching as the girls start going mad. All the scares are perfectly timed as well as an ongoing feeling of uneasyness and thrown in stomach churning scenes. If you like horror I strongly suggest this. Proof that the Brits do horror best.

This film is sooooo predictable and you just know that not everyone is going to escape alive . Starting with a fatal car crash and flashing forward some time later , a couple of the characters are so full of remorse and angst that it did not surprise me in the least that pure
madness would envelope everyone who entered the caves . The extremely well shot dark surroundings and claustrophobic atmosphere along with cannibalistic creatures that look just like Gollum on mega - steroids, make this cult flick , mostly all girl film
from the makers of Dog Soldiers worth watching , with lights on.
