Meanwhile, Lynette's (Felicity Huffman) cancer creates obstacles in both her marriage and her friendships, and Edie (Nicollette Sheridan) continues to fight with Gabrielle (Eva Longoria Parker) over Carlos (Ricardo Antonio Chavira). Each delightfully twisty, catty storyline comes to a powerful conclusion in the season's controversial time-jumping finale, 'Free'.
