Summary: Sam Decker returns to a tough inner city school to teach but soon becomes disillusioned and decides to quit. On his last day he takes a detention class with the toughest kids in school after hours. As the school is supposed to be empty a gang of gunmen take over the building. During the events that follow Sam and the kids learn a lesson that they are never likely to forget - and so does Sam.
