In the pilot episode, Des attempts to convince a first time offender to join him in a scam. In the other episodes, Des takes on a number of different guises in order to break into Buckingham Palace to steal a diamond, plunder a financial institution of their ill-gotten gains and attempts to steal £8 million of Russian gold.
