Summary: The first series of the hit TV comedy which follows two couples on holiday abroad.
Having been made redundant from his draughtsman's job, David Pearce and his wife Amy blow some of his redundancy money on their first foreign holiday. They arrive in the Costa Del Sol, and settle down to enjoy their two week exotic break at the San Remo Hotel, Marbella. They meet Robert Cochran and his beautiful wife Linda, and David is instantly attracted to the other man's wife. A holiday romance is attempted between them, providing ample opportunity for secret assignations, disguises and hiding in wardrobes. Aware of some potential bedroom activities, Amy and Robert, the rejected other-halves, do all they can to prevent it. First shown in the mid-1980s, and co-written by RISING DAMP'S Eric Chappell, series one visits the holiday makers (getting gradually more sunburnt) on each day of the first week of their holiday.
