Summary: In 'Merlin the Return' Merlin uses the power of Stonehenge to banish the evil sorcerer, Mordred, and his army, to the Netherworld. He then sends Arthur and Sir Lancelot into a long, dark sleep so they can be on hand should Mordred ever return. 'Pets' finds Peter, Shannon and their pets who battle with three incompetent crooks and find themselves coming off best. 'Hoodlum And Son' is set in 1933 and tells the tale of ten-year-old Archie who is left in the care of his gangster father Charlie. They escape to a remote town where Charlie takes a job as a teacher and a widowed mother tries to force them out of town. In 'Askari' a teenage orphan is sent to live with her Auntie in Africa who lives on a game farm. Initially the two women tolerate each other's company but eventually their love for a young elephant brings them together...
