Summary: Doctor Zarkov, Flash Gordon and Dale Arden continue to monitor the Planet Mongo as it follows a collision course with planet Earth. They discover Emperor Ming may be involved. Episodes 7 to 13.

This collection includes the episodes 7-13 of the first filmed version of FLASH GORDON, the popular comic strip, where a distant planet has broken its orbit and is heading straight for Earth. Renowned scientist Dr. Hans Zarkov (Frank Shannon) builds an escape rocket and is joined by Yale graduate Flash Gordon (Buster Crabbe) and Dale Arden (Jean Rogers). They land on the fantastic runaway planet, Mongo, only to tangle with its evil ruler, Ming the Merciless (Charles Middleton), who has dastardly plans for our three heroes. Crabbe is the quintessential Flash in this saga which was made for a then-expensive $350,000, setting a new standard for movie serials of the 1930s.
