Young, bushy-tailed Sean (Kerr Smith) picks up a scruffy hitchhiker, Nick (Brendan Fehr), to help him pass the time on his road trip across the United States. What Sean quickly discovers is that Nick is not your average Joe--he's a vampire hunter on the trail of a gang of blood-thirsty killers who roam the Southwest. When Sean finds himself infected--along with a beautiful and unconscious stranger (Izabella Miko)--he has no choice but to join Nick on his quest.
