This Thames Television series chronicles the triumphs and tragedies of the Fox family and its presiding patriarch Billy Fox (Peter Vaughn). The Foxes have lived in the Clapham area of South London for generations, and their ups and downs are chronicled in 13 emotionally involving episodes. Shot entirely on location in pubs, clubs, and streets, FOX captures both the particular atmosphere of life in London and the universal experience of family in all its warmth and conflict. Volume 1 features the first three episodes: "King Billy," "Arched Fingers for Bach, Flat Fingers for Love," and "Pugilism, not Vandalism."
