Summary: Something to be laughed at, this comedy collection includes FUN WITH DICK AND JANE, LIAR LIAR and THE CABLE GUY.
Something to be laughed at, this comedy collection includes, FUN WITH DICK AND JANE, LIAR LIAR and THE CABLE GUY. Jim Carrey stars in all films. In FUN WITH DICK AND JANE, Dick (Jim Carrey) and Jane (Tea Leoni) Harper, are a typical, working, suburban couple. Things change in the blink of an eye when Dick finds himself suddenly unemployed – just after receiving a promotion. His pension is bust, he can't find a job to save his life and to make matters worse, Jane quit her job as soon as he was promoted. Months later, the Harpers find themselves in increasingly dire straits. They resort to paying their nanny with appliances, selling all of their possessions and are facing foreclosure on their house when Dick has a brainstorm: he'll start to steal. Jane joins him, and soon the duo is dressing in elaborate costumes and robbing local businesses and homes. In LIAR LIAR, a lawyer discovers that he is unable to tell a lie. In THE CABLE GUY, Steve Kovack tries to slip the Cable Guy fifty dollars, in the time-honoured way, in order to get all the movie channels for free. Unfortunately this fellow only wants a friend – he doesn't want any money and won't take no for an answer.
