Summary: Scottish indie-film GAMERZ, follows hapless young nerd Ralph (Ross Finbow) as he begins university, hoping to escape the miserable drudge of his hometown. Up until now Ralph has shunned dreary reality in favour of the intricate DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS-style fantasy worlds of his own imagination. At uni, he wastes no time in taking over the fantasy role-playing society, gaining charge of a clique of equally socially-inept fantasy geeks, including the beautiful goth 'elf' Marlyn. Ralph's attempts to woo Marlyn are thwarted when a grim reminder of his dreary roots comes to visit and decides to join the society. Unassuming and hilarious, GAMERZ has picked up a well-deserved cult following since its limited release.
