In HOSTEL, two young Americans embark upon a backpacking trip across Europe. A fellow traveller recommends a hostel in Bratislava that is full of attractive women who love Americans. However when the two men arrive at their destination, they find themselves in a terrifying situation.
In THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, a quiet summer drive through rural Texas ends in violent tragedy when several youths encounter a chainsaw-wielding psychopathic killer and his demented family.
In CANDYMAN, the thesis research of folklore graduate student Helen Lyle leads her into the urban underworld of Chicago's Cabrini Green housing projects. There the residents are genuinely terrified of Candyman, a legendary figure with a hook for a hand. Sceptical, she 'summons' him in front of a mirror and discovers with horror that he's real--and very deadly.
In URBAN LEGEND, strange deaths occur on the campus of Pendleton College and three friends believe they are just coincidences but a fourth suspects a bizarre link. When she gets too close to the truth her own life becomes in danger.
In I STILL KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER, a year after the original tragedy, Julie James is in college trying to piece her life back together. When her roommate, Karla, wins a trip for four to a tropical island, everything seems to be fine. That changes during a seemingly harmless karaoke session, however, when instead of lyrics a menacing message appears on the teleprompter to return the horror to Julie's life. It's not long before the bodies start piling up, and she once again finds herself facing the wrong end of the knife - but this time, she's far from the comforts of home.
