Summary: The creator of 'Trigun', Yasuhiro Nightow, returns with the action-gangster Anime GUNGRAVE. Brandon and Harry, two lifelong friends, join the mysterious Millennion Organisation after it takes control of the assets belonging to Maria, Brandon's love. As they climb the ladder of the organisation, Harry grows dangerously ambitious and betrays his friends in a grasp for power. In 'Volume Five: The Protector', it is revealed that Harry has obtained demonic and undead soldiers for Millennion using immoral scientific techniques. Mika, Maria's daughter, seeks out Brandon, hoping that he can restore sanity to Harry's actions. When Harry sends out his vicious Orgmen to stop her, Brandon appears, but vastly changed from when he was last seen.
