Includes romantic comedies THE HOLIDAY, LOVE ACTUALLY and WIMBLEDON.
In THE HOLIDAY, an English journalist and an American film trailer editor make contact through a holiday website and agree to swap homes for two weeks to escape their disastrous personal lives.
Set in the weeks leading up to Christmas, LOVE ACTUALLY is the story of a group of people who find themselves surrounded by love. There's the new Prime Minister who falls for his personal assistant, the Prime Minister's sister Karan who realises that her husband is attracted to his secretary. Author Jamie who flees England to escape his unfaithful girlfriend and then falls for his housekeeper. Movie stand-ins, John and Judy, who become attracted to each other on the film set. Recently widowed Daniel who helps his stepson who is smitten with one of his class-mates and Billy Mack, an ageing rock star who discovers that love can be found in the most unlikely of places.
WIMBLEDON is a light-hearted romantic comedy set in the high-pressure world of professional tennis. Peter Colt is a 31-year-old English tennis player who intends to retire from the game after playing in one final Wimbledon. But when he accidentally walks into the hotel room of rising American star Lizzie Bradbury, sparks begin to fly and Peter begins to find his touch on the court once again. Unfortunately for Peter, Lizzie's overbearing father Dennis is well aware that Lizzie's game suffers when she is distracted by love, and he bans the two from seeing each other. This doesn't bode well for Peter, who is about to play in the final against cocky American superstar Jake Hammond. Not to mention the fact that Peter has the hopes of an entire nation riding on his shoulders.
