Summary: In 'Casablanca' the owner of a nightclub in Vichy-controlled Casablanca is troubled by the return of his former lover who is now a member of the Resistance. Based on a play by Murray Burnett and Joan Alison. 'High Sierra' is the story of a gangster called Roy Earle who assists in a hotel hold-up in return for being sprung from prison. He then attempts to go straight, but his luck quickly runs out. 'Dark Passage' tells of an escapee from San Quentin who was erroneously charged with the murder of his wife.
