I CAN'T THINK STRAIGHT is a sharp, witty drama about Tala (a Jordanian Christian, played by Ray) who is about to marry her loving boyfriend when she meets Leyla (a reserved Muslim, played by Sheth) and feels an unexpected attraction. On the surface, the two couldn't be more different, but their magnetic draw cannot be denied. As Tala's wedding looms, she must ask herself if she will risk everything for love.

THE WORLD UNSEEN is a period drama set in 1950s South Africa, in which Miriam (Ray), a married mother, meets Amina (Sheth), a progressive owner of a cafe. Though the women appear to have little in common, they are instantly drawn to one another, and a forbidden affair begins. THE WORLD UNSEEN is a stirring film that addresses issues of race, gender, and desire. Shamin Sarif directs this adaptation of her own novel.
