Summary: INITIAL D, revolves around the 'Drift Racing' phenomenon that gained popularity among Japanese teenagers. In addition to stunning graphics the series fleshes out small details (even taking time to have characters explain various driving techniques). In volume 3 of INITIAL D, developing racer/delivery boy Tak's reputation leads to an unwelcome challenge from the Night Kids. His Eight-Six hardly seems matched to the Night Kids' GT-R, but Tak takes on the challenge.
