Summary: A narcotics cop, deemed too crazy to team with anybody, is given a headstrong German Shepherd dog as a partner. The pair attempt to understand each other whilst trying to bust a big businessman who is also an even bigger cocaine dealer.
James Belushi stars as Thomas Dooley, a narcotics cop whose unorthodox methods make him unable to team up with anybody on the force--nobody human, that is. When Dooley needs help busting a prominent drug dealer, he is assigned a partner named Jerry Lee--who is, in fact, a rather headstrong German Shepherd trained to sniff out drugs. At first, the pair struggle to understand each other but eventually learn to work together through a series of stakeouts and other comedic misadventures.
