Based on an African folktale, KIRIKOU is the story of a little boy who delivers himself from his mother's womb already walking and talking and decides straight away to free his village of an evil sorceress's curse. Joint winner in 2002 (with CHICKEN RUN) of the British Animation Award for Best European Feature.
