Summary: An eccentric Grandfather and his dog Roo embark on an expedition to the North Pole. Also includes 'Roo Reveals All' which is a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film.
A whimsical grandfather sets off with his dog, Roo, to Great Bear Ridge in order to find the last polar bears. Along the way, Grandfather writes letters back to his grandchild at home describing his adventures. This animated film, narrated by Nigel Hawthorne, is based on the book by Harry Horse.
