When a dowdy nurse, Leah, becomes infatuated with her boss she sells her soul to the Devil's apprentice, Abargadon, in return for a new glamorous look. When the angel Gabriel deems the deal null and void due to a technicality, the situation is further complicated by the fact that Leah and Abargadon have fallen in love. Josiane Balasko writes, directs and stars in this dark French comedy.

A dark comic treat from director Josainne Balasko made in 1991 and starring herself as a dowdy nurse Leah who sells her soul to the Devil's apprentice Abargadon ( Daniel Auteuil ) in return for a bimbo makeover to attract her therapist . This film which is in French
has subtitles and also stars Michael Lonsdale , Ticky Holgado and Richard Berry .
