Summary: In 'Autobiography Of A Princess' we see a tale of exotic India. 'Howard's End' is an Edwardian drama based on E.M. Forster's novel which follows the fortunes of two families. 'Hullaballoo Over George And Bonnie's Pictures' is set in India amidst the wheelings and dealings of the art world, where several parties are battling for possession of some miniature paintings. 'Maurice' tells E.M. Forster's story which is set in pre-World War I England and looks at the coming of age of two young men who meet at Cambridge and fall in love. 'Quartet' is set in Paris in the 1920s and is based on the autobiography of Jean Rhys. It is the story of a young couple who are entrapped by a middle-aged English couple. 'Savages' finds a tribe of primitive 'mudpeople' following a croquet ball through their forest to a Long Island estate where they assume the roles and dress of people at a weekend party.
