Summary: Like the anti-hero of a French New Wave film, real-life Gallic gangster Jacques Mesrine spent much of his life running from the law. In the first section of this two-part film directed by Jean-Francois Richet (ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13), Vincent Cassel (EASTERN PROMISES) stars as the titular criminal. Cecile de France (SWITCHBLADE ROMACE) co-stars as a prostitute who joins him on the lam, while Gerard Depardieu (CYRANO DE BERGERAC) plays a crime boss.
