Contains the films THE PATRIOT, A KNIGHT'S TALE, and NED KELLY, all of which star Heath Ledger.
In THE PATRIOT, a reformed American soldier is forced to abandon his happy rural life with his family when they are personally threatened by the British during the American Revolution. He and a group of others contribute in a major way towards the cause.
Loosely inspired by Geoffrey Chaucer's THE CANTERBURY TALES and set in the 14th Century, A KNIGHT'S TALE is the story of William Thatcher, a peasant squire, who has a real talent for jousting. During this time only Knights of noble birth are eligible to joust and so William enlists the help of his three friends Wat, Roland and Geoffrey to adopt a false identity and compete in high level competitions.
NED KELLY is a film about Australias' most notorious outlaw. It is 1871 and Ned, along with his brother Dan and two other men, Steve Hart and Joe Byrne, form a gang, the Kelly Gang, and set out to rob banks using primitive armour as protection. Kelly soons finds himself being seen as a Robin Hood figure by the local population and a price on his head and the police chasing him. However, whilst hiding out in a pub, the gang are betrayed by a local teacher and the scene is set for a dramatic showdown with dozens of armed police who are taking no chances.
