A thoroughly charming French film following a couple of children who lead a pint-sized pack of tykes on various adventures through the village of Thiers. The myriad emotions of childhood are explored, although it takes the misdemeanours of one particular boy to catch attention of the village's adults. Celebrated director Francois Truffaut brings out wonderful performances from children with no previous movie experience.
