Summary: In 'Ricochet' a cop is accused of murder. The one person who knows the truth also wants him dead. 'Once In the Life' is set in the grittier parts of New York City where drugs are a problem. The story revolves around two half-brothers who meet up in a jail cell - one needing to feed his drug habit, the other wanting to raise cash to get off the crime scene. 'A Murder Of Crows' finds a lawyer who gets disbarred and starts to write a book of his experiences but one day he meets someone who has just written a book and he is asked to read the manuscript. Shortly afterwards the man dies and the ex-lawyer passes the book off as his own.
