Summary:
This Screen Legends collection celebrates the comedic talents of Peter Sellers. The box set comprises four films, all featuring the outrageous Sellers in a lead role – THE MOUSE THAT ROARED, RETURN OF THE PINK PANTHER, THERE’S A GIRL IN MY SOUP and THE MAGIC CHRISTIAN. THE MOUSE THAT ROARED - The world's smallest country, the Duchy of Grand Fenwick, keeps its economy afloat by exporting their wine, Pinot Grand Fenwick, to America. When the state of California bottles a cheaper version, Pinot Grand Enwick, bankruptcy looms for the tiny Duchy, so it decides to wage war against America in order to lose and collect foreign aid. RETURN OF THE PINK PANTHER - In this third instalment of the popular Pink Panther series, the bumbling French detective Inspector Clouseau is reluctantly called back into service by Chief Inspector Dreyfus, when someone swipes the infamous Pink Panther diamond from the museum in Lugash. The prime suspect is the smoothly aristocratic jewel thief, Sir Charles Lytton, better known as the Phantom, who on this rare occasion is innocent of the crime in question. Attempting to avoid arrest, the Phantom joins in the pursuit of the real criminals, while his lovely wife, Claudine, leads the myopic Clouseau on a wild-goose chase. As usual, Clouseau's creative methods of deduction drive Inspector Dreyfus ever closer to the brink of insanity. THERE'S A GIRL IN MY SOUP - Having broken up with her boyfriend and kicked out of her flat, an attractive young girl befriends a middle-aged Casanova. The zany fun begins when she moves in with her new (and much older) lover. THE MAGIC CHRISTIAN - Star-studded story of the world's richest man, who adopts a young orphan. Together, they set out to prove that everyone and everything has its price.
