"I'm ready to tell you my secret now", confesses thick-spectacled nerd Frances (Josh Robinson) to his glamorous shrink Dr Willies (Barbara Joyce) in The Sexy Sixth Sense, "I see dead strippers." She offers to help him get rid of them, and he replies, "Are you nuts, I want to know how to make them do stuff!"

A minimalist softcore parody of The Sixth Sense, this consists of an hour or so of the whining geek wandering about his tiny apartment as four (eventually five) dead strippers manifest and go through lengthy naked writhings and food-messing play instead of actually having any sex. A clown and a priest show up for bad sub-Farrelly jokes and then it's back to the bogus lesbians until the repetition gets to be too much and a long, slow end credits crawl extends the running time to 70 minutes (approx 90 minutes lies the box). Some of the girls (Darian Caine, Esmerelda Delarocca, Jade DuBoir) are regulars in this sort of thing, having chalked up credits in Gladiator Eroticusand The Erotic Witch Project, but they've never been photographed as hideously as this, with a sub-camcorder look that deadens the air of would-be sauciness.

On the DVD:The Sexy Sixth Sensedisc includes frozen frames passed off as a photo gallery, a trailer, outtakes that aren't noticeably worse than the takes used in the film, and on-set time-wasting which reveals why few of the girls are allowed any dialogue in the film (they all sound like South Parkcharacters). --Rainbow Christen
