Summary: Japanese action director Ryuhei Kitamura (VERSUS) helms the suspenseful drama SKY HIGH. After his fiancee Mina is murdered in a particularly gruesome way, police officer Kanzaki becomes a furious seeker of vengeance. Meanwhile, Mina finds herself before the gates of heaven with a difficult choice about what the next step will be for her soul. While Mina agonises over her decision and tries to help Kanzaki from the afterlife, he tracks down her murderer and discovers a serial killer with his own sinister agenda involving the powers of heaven and hell. SKY HIGH was based on a popular manga by Tsutomu Takahashi, and was made as the pilot film for a regular television show.
