Summary: Justin Edgar takes a wry swipe at political correctness in his largely improvised dramedy SPECIAL PEOPLE. Failed filmmaker Jasper (Dominic Coleman) enlists his services at a London community centre, with the intention of teaching his craft to a group of disabled teenagers. His rather romanticized decision to make a film about the realities of disability is met with the reality of teenage indifference. And soon it's the kids that are teaching teacher, as they embark on a film project of their own.
