Rappers Fat Joe and Mack-10 star in this violent gang saga as Lonzo and DJ, two thugs who almost kill each other until they share their interest in hip-hop music. To finance new recording studio equipment, the duo turn to cross-country cocaine dealing, and the body count soars in both LA and New Orleans. Supporting actor Big Pun died of a heart attack before the film's release. Ice Cube, prominent on the cassette box, has a two-scene cameo.
