There's a classic showdown of good versus evil in Andrew Mc Laglen's CHISUM, when a corrupt official starts to exert his authority over the town of Lincoln and one of its founders, cattle owner John Chisum (John Wayne), rallies against him. John Huston's THE UNFORGIVEN sees a wholesome frontier family accused of having secretly adopted an Indian child and passed her off as white, sparking an age-old feud between local Kiowa Indians and white settlers.
