Laura Gemser (of the EMANUELLE series) ostensibly reprises her Emanuelle persona in this exploitation classic. Here, Gemser plays a reporter going undercover to expose a women's prison notorious for its brutal treatment of inmates. Posing as a prostitute, Gemser is incarcerated and immediately shocked at not only the treatment of the prisoners, but also the borderline psychotic behavior of her fellow inmates. Unfortunately, things get worse when the reporter's true identity is discovered by the sadistic prison warden (Lorraine De Selle), who subjects Gemser to the torture she had come to investigate.
