THE MUTILATOR: Five high school students on vacation begin to wish they were back in school when a crazed maniac attacks them one by one, mutilating their bodies in the process.
THE BURNING: A team of teenaged camp counsellors are tormented by a psychotic killer lurking in the woods. While the premise is quite familiar to the horror genre, Tony Maylam's THE BURNING certainly packs enough unique scenes of graphic violence and gore while delivering plenty of shocks. With special effects by the wizard of gore himself, Tom Savini (DAWN OF THE DEAD, FRIDAY THE 13TH), music by Rick Wakeman (SHE, CREEPSHOW 2), and an appearance by Holly Hunter (RAISING ARIZONA, CRASH) THE BURING is a must for genre fans. Not recommended for those with weak stomachs!
