VIRASAT is a gripping Indian drama that follows life in the village of Joshpura. Raja Thakur (Amrish Puri) loves his village and wants to improve the conditions of division that exist between its people. One group of villagers is loyal to Raja Thakur, while the other has sworn alliance to Balli Thakur (Milind Gunaji), the son of Raja Thakur's younger brother, Birju Thakur (Govind Namdeo). Raja Thakur eagerly awaits the arrival of his younger son, Shakti (Anil Kapoor), from abroad, believing Shakti can persuade the villagers from fighting. However, Shakti, who has fallen for modern girl Anita (Pooji Batra), has other plans....
