Summary: A comedy series about a group of banged-up petty crooks and the family, friends - and fiends! - who visit them each week in their natural environment: a low security prison. Set almost entirely in the prison visiting room, the comic tension flows from a three-way dynamic between the prisoners, their family and friends, and the under-valued prison officers. It's about relationships under pressure and these 'windows' - the breaks to the monotonies of life which each visiting time brings - provide the stories within the programme. Each episode exposes a different prisoner and his world. This may be a prison but the comedy is always warm, slightly ridiculous and surprisingly accessible. The hilarious characters of the prison exist in an insular environment where unique and bizarre rules apply, but where you'll find the recognisable problems, issues and emotions of the outside world.
